We have teamed up with another award winning producer to produce a raw Pancetta. What is Pancetta? Both pancetta and bacon are cured pork made from the same cut - pork belly. When people call for bacon in a dish, they're usually looking for that smoky, rich taste that bacon brings to the party. Pancetta, on the other hand, is not smoked. It has quieter, deeper, purer pork flavours than bacon, so great for cooking with or adding to the breast of a turkey or roast. It can then be used to make a very rich gravy from all those beautiful flavours.
These are smoked in and old smokehouse, so not liquid smoke.
